Ever since the Smart Meters started being installed in our city and neighborhood, I have been suffering severe ringing in my ears and “brain fog”. I opted out to have one installed in my house however, there are 165 other homes in my neighborhood who do have them along with the building where I work so I am never able to get away from the effects they produce. My neighbor said the same thing that “Neil” said above….embrace the technology and move on, but she is not the one
suffering the daily ringing in her ears as I am one who is extra sensitive to them. My life has been totally turned around and as the owner of a business, its very difficult for me to concentrate with the effects from the smart meter.

Hi. My name is Daniel. I am from Baltimore Maryland. At the end of September 2013, BGE came to my building and installed 11 Smart Meters in the basement. I opt out and the only meter they did not replace was mine otherwise would have been 12 smart meters. Since i live on top of the basement aprox 3 feet away from this bank of 11 Smart Meters i been having nausea, dizziness, headaches and sleep problems. I decided to stay at my sisters house and the symptoms dissapeared. I don’t know what to do. Please help me.

This is such bull – period. The entire anti-smart meter movement is mass paranoia!!! There is so much natural and man-made RF and other radiation that the additional signal from the smart meter is lost in the sauce.

Propagation of this information is tantamount to a religion – something you want to believe but that is not based in fact.

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but embrace the technology for what it is and move on.

Neil 0nn August 9, 2013 at 4:43 p.m. provides an interesting perspective. I wonder if he is shilling for the Pepco freak show. The real problem with smart meters is the issue of data collection and who exactly has access to it. It would be interesting to determine whether or not the Maryland Fusion Center for Intelligence is being given access to Pepco customer real-time data. The information collected by the meters paints a picture of home life that is no one’s business, not Pepco, not anyone.

Thank you Garic for your courage in coming forward and letting others know about the effect of smart meter radiation on your life.

This is such bull… There should be NO legislation for an Opt Out.

The Smart Grid infrastructure is a toxic public health hazard and should be dismantled in the state.

The health of all people are effected by the Smart Meters….the disabled, elderly, and other fragile members of our society are the merely the first to feel the effects of these meters.
