Take Action: Urge Companies to Manufacture non RFID Appliances

Appliances are already being manufactured with imbedded RFID chips. If we do not speak up now, within a few short years, only “smart appliances” will be found in stores around the country. We need to flood the CEOs of the major appliance companies with letters asking them to continue manufacturing appliances which are free of RF imbedded chips and assuring them there will be an ever increasing market for these as more and more people become informed.

Notes:

  1. Some of these companies have changed hands multiple times, all the links may not be current.  Please write us and help keep this information current
  2. Letters are recommended (sample below) as the most effective form of communication since phone calls may go to an answering machine; emails discarded.  However, any contact method is better than nothing.

Sample Letter to send to retailers and manufacturers urging them to make and distribute non RFID appliances

To Whom it may Concern:

An increasing number of people around the country are opposing the smart energy meters that utilities are currently installing on all homes and businesses. The opposition is based on grounds of health, privacy, hacking as well as a host of other reasons. Because of the opposition, more and more utilities are now allowing opt outs from these meters and some localities have even banned them entirely.

Unfortunately, smart appliances are starting to be manufactured that will “speak” wirelessly with these meters. Yet many people do not want the added radio frequency microwave radiation pulsating in their home as the overall level of electrosmog from other sources is already having a detrimental effect on their health. Moreover, an increasing number of studies are showing a biological effect from chronic exposure to low level frequencies. I therefore request that you continue to offer non-chipped appliances (no RFID chips imbedded) that are CLEARLY LABELED so that people will have a choice. There will be a large number of consumers who will want RF free appliances, so not only is this an ethical choice, but it makes good business sense too.

Additionally, manufacturers of non-chipped appliances will be supported and promoted by ever expanding organizations who oppose wireless smart meters and wireless radiation.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
